"Our window didn’t shut properly and the room was freezing when we got there as the window had been left open, probably to let the awful smell from the bathroom out. However we closed the windows the best we could and put the oil radiator on and it had warmed up a couple of hours. But it was good value for the price."

"A delightful stay to celebrate my aunt’s 80th birthday. Perfect afternoon tea with a card and celebration dessert, delicious dinner and breakfast the next day. The grounds were superb for walking and exploring . The rooms were quaint and comfortable. A really lovely visit. Thank-you!"

"Outstanding hotel, situated in a quiet location away from the noisy and busy city . Rooms are cozy and maximally comfy. Good interior, with extra duvet kept for use. Cleanliness was a top notch. Bed was very comfortable , King size mattress with all white and succulent duvet and pillows. Clean toilet , bespoke and tailored to ultimate comfort and splendor. Staff were polite, friendly and highly professional. Would greatly recommend!! Definitely repeating my stay. "
