Traditional Cottage, enclosed garden, Trewalder, Nr Port Isaac & surf beaches.

  • Welch's Cottage is a traditional built stone cottage in the tranquil rural hamlet of Trewalder, 2 miles from the magnificent North Cornish Coast and within easy reach of Bodmin Moor. The fishing village of Port Isaac, the location for the tv series 'Doc Martin' is close by. The popular surfing beach of Polzeath is a 20 minute drive away and also Rock, famous for it's water sports and Daymer bay a popular beach for lazing in the sun, or rock pooling. Our closest surf beach is Trebarwith Strand which has life guards on duty during the summer months. Travelling north a few miles, you will find the village of Tintagel, famous for it's castle and the legend of King Authur. Travel a little further and you will arrive at the quaint harbour of Boscastle.
