"When we checked in we realized our remote for the tv was broken. I mean physically broken. We had to also ask for our own towels, toliet paper, and for them to empty our trash. When checking in they never told us we had to ASK for someone to come refresh our room. They emptied the pool halfway thru our stay and refilled it which meant it was freezing the rest of our time there. The hot tub was ice cold for 3 out of our 5 days until they finally figured out what was wrong. The location was great but the hotel itself was not."

"A++ We liked everything about this hotel! Our room was perfect with a comfy bed and thick, soft towels. We did not eat breakfast at the restaurant because it was a $16.95 buffet and we are not big breakfast eaters. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and welcoming. Not sure if we’ll ever be back in Mason but if we are we will definitely be back!! "

"Great home for any reason you find yourself in the Loveland/Mason/Landen area! Crystal is a wonderful host! The neighborhood is mostly quiet and easy to navigate."

"Nice location. Easy to get to. Breakfast was delicious, hearty and wholesome options (pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, potatoes). Rooms were spacious and comfy, the beds were super comfortable, some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, it’s like they have a pillow-top mattress. The workout room was great, good quality equipment. The inside and common areas were nice and pleasant. The only disappointment and from here on out was the information that IHG hotels including Holiday Inn Express were discontinuing in-room coffee makers to reduce single use plastics which was highly frustrating because I want coffee in my room in the morning when I wake up. I don’t want to go down to the 24 coffee bar in the lobby to get coffee first thing in the morning. However there are some in-room coffee makers available upon request so all was not lost on this occasion because I got one but in the future it could be a problem because the hotel is only keeping a small number of Keurig coffee machines for in room use available upon request. However the vast majority of guests will need to use the breakfast bar coffee machine which is available 24 hours. So be warned future guests who love coffee first thing in the morning."

"I stayed here for one night and it was a terrible experience. There were a lot of bugs and cockroaches in my room, especially all over the kitchen area. It was very uncomfortable and unsanitary. Definitely an awful stay, and I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"This property is amazing! Hotel, amenities and rooms are so clean. Staff is courteous, friendly and accommodating. Room layout is perfect, it’s almost like a small apartment. My daughter and I have stayed in several hotels in be area around Great Wolf Lodge and Kings Island over the past few years. This is by far our favorite, and well worth any rate I’ve ever paid to stay here. Sometimes even feel somewhat sad to have to checkout! :) "

"The room was spacious and clean. A wall between both would have made for nicer accommodations. Breakfast was okay. They need to invest in better coffee and make sure it is always hot. The last night was not so great. It seems that a ball team was staying there and they were loud in the hallway until midnight talking, running, and slamming doors. Location felt very safe. I couldn’t sleep one night so I went to the lobby to read so I wouldn’t wake my wife. The lobby lights were mostly off and the televisions were too loud to read there. The business center was also too dimly lit and loud with television sound to work in. All said, we would stay here again. "
