"Our stay at the Chalet was perfect for my wife and I. We spent four days there and for two of those days we never left the chalet as we just relaxed, watched movies, fished from the dock (caught four different species of fish within an hour) and the best part of all was enjoyed the wood fired cedar hot tub. My wife likes a “hot” hot tub and needless to say we burned up a little bit of Trent’s firewood using it. Trent was great to work with from beginning to end. We actually got to meet Trent and...

"Lots of options for sleeping (2 rooms main floor, 2 rooms in the lower level), and a beautiful view of a shallow lake. We appreciated how easy it was to find the home, which can be challenging at times with homes in northern Minnesota. The hosts have a well-stocked kitchen for pots, pans, and utensils. We really enjoyed the north woods appeal and the peaceful setting. "

"We arrived, for our fifteenth anniversary, to swans swimming in front of the dock. We caught a couple bluegill and sunnies. We got to explore the lake quite a bit too! We watched deer on the shore, and two families of geese corraling their goslings. This was a perfect little get away, and the perfect spot for some R&R"

"We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute lil cabin. Even though we live in the area we wanted a getaway on a quiet lake to enjoy some boating, fishing and swimming and thats just what we got! Great trails to ride ATVs. The cabin reminded me of my grandparents cabin on the lake when I was little. The hosts were great with communicating! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet and serene area!"

"Snuggled amongst gorgeous trees with stunning views of the lake is the perfect place to stay with not only with your family but your friends entire family as well. Comfy beds, great gathering and eating spaces - we never felt crowded. Our dog loved every moment. Anything needed was already there. Great time was had by all enjoying the outdoor spaces along with the pool table, darts and shuffle board. Can't wait to stay again!"

"Wow this place was amazing! The cabin was amazing and right on the lake! We are big bird watchers and saw pelicans, swans, lions, osprey, and eagles. Several kinds of turtles including snappers. The fire pit area is lovely as is the deck facing the lake. I just wish we had more time to stay! But we definitely will come back and the hosts were very receptive to all of our questions! We stay at a lot of VRBO properties and this one earns an A+."

"It's a beautiful, secluded area right on the shore of Round Lake. Having access to the kayaks, paddleboards and canoes was great. I would rent a boat for more serious fishermen. We happened to be the only ones there, but the private dock, beach, etc. is shared by another rental cabin and the owner's cabin. The cabin is small, but it is just as described and pictured. Very clean. They provided a lot of kitchen items that most do not. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely visit...

"The property is on a small lake. It s very quiet area. The most noise we heard was from our grandchildren playing in the yard. There is a large yard between the house and the lake. It is ideal for yard games, there are trees there to set up the cabin’s hammock and bring one yourself, if you wish. The kayaks, canoe and paddleboat are all older, but in good condition. Since the lake is small, you will not have to watch for fast traffic. And taking kids out on the s lake is fun like it’s supposed to be. The lake is a nice place to do birdwatching and fishing. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. It has been remodeled, and although the square footage may seem small it is well furnished, and arranged so that everyone is comfortable. "
