"The room was quite nice. However; We had 3 problems with the housekeeping staff: First, we discovered that there was only 1 coffee mug in the room and this was not corrected by the staff who cleaned - so we had to call for a 2nd mug. Second, the housekeeping staff did not remove the obviously used, dirty wash clothes. and Third - we were ready to pack up to leave and discovered the housekeeping staff had THROWN AWAY our cooler! It was made of compostable cardboard and was inexpensive - but we needed it for my medication and for food that we were traveling with. We had to leave to get to an excursion and they were not able to do anything to help us. All they did was have their housekeeping manager investigate and write a letter of apology a couple of days later. We had to replace the cooler. There was no mention of reimbursing us or anything like that. When you are paying the prices at a luxury resort like Alyeska, these issues should not have happened. "

"Great house for our ten person group. The top floor has one king size bed and bathroom, the ground floor has 2 king size beds and a bathroom and the basement level has 2 king size beds, a dorm type room with 4 bunk beds and 1 bathroom. The basement bathroom is within the room with the 4 bunked beds and one of the king sized beds is in a room where you have to walk through the bunk bedroom. So the basement is a little convoluted, there is also a big living room with a pool table and a small kitchenette, large sofa and a tv. The hot tub is on a deck off the basement level. The basement had a musty odor but the family that stayed down there didn’t seem bothered by that. Washer and dryer is also in the basement. The house suited our groups needs well."
