"Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "

"It was our second stay at this hotel and if we hadn't had a good stay the first time, we would never have gone back. But the hotel was easy to use, easy to find, easy to book, reasonable cost and reasonable facilities. It will never be a 5-Star Hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be either! "Rooms- the rooms were very specious and well kept. Very high tech i.e. scanning key before selecting floor. Easy to request for room service and 'do not disturb' Easy control of the heating. Breakfast- excellent spread of food and choice. The best breakfast I have had for a long while. Minimum 10/10 rating. Staff- nothing to fault. Great level of service and staff very friendly and approachable. Very professional. Location- great to get into town very easily with cabs/Uber. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be returning. "
