"Yeah, the place was good. I found the room quite big and not too noisy. I stayed for 3 nights. Staff were friendly. No bad for the price. I stayed at the Cook point caravan park and ordered a queen room and they gave me a room with two single beds. I was very annoyed as I had travelled 17 hours from Perth to visit my partner. They couldn’t do anything about it so I went to Blackrock instead and didn’t have any issues. "

"Accommodation in post boom mining towns is now affordable. The Walkabout is a rabbit warren of donga's, single men's quarters and tired Spanish mission style stuff from the 80's; retro FIFO. The pub grub servings are not as huge as at Roebuck plains."
