Gorgeous Oceanview apartment at the beach! Family-friendly activities, public transport and nightlife. You`ll love the neighborhood, the ambience, the comfy beds and the outdoors space. Very good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids).

Upon inspection Castaways Resort was deemed safe and cleared by the City of Daytona after Hurricane Ian.
This gorgeous Oceanview apartment has 1 King Size Bed and 1 Twin Size Sofa Bed. Newly furnished with cooktop, microwave, full size refrigerator, toaster, regular coffee maker and Keurig, all dishes, utensils, pots and pans, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Apartment includes linens, towels, Smart HDTV 50 inches includes 50+ channels and WiFi are included for your entertainment. Great food, music, drinks, shops and a lot of fun. Centrally located on a quiet piece of sand in the Castaways Beach Resort.

The location was excellent! I had a nice view. What stood out to me was Security. I felt very safe. Being a Solo traveler, well not totally, my dog Honey travels with me. The property is older, but very clean, I would return.

The property is nice, the view is beautiful, the pool is heated and the food at the diner attached is really good! This is an individually owned condo inside of a hotel. The building staff was very friendly. The actual condo, itself, was the issue. The bed is completely uncomfortable and it has a dangerous, metal, footboard that you can't see bc the mattress is too big and the comforter was covering it. There were several injuries bc of this including to my 3 year old son. The host didn't send me the instructions until after I had already arrived and asked him for them so I was completely lost on what to do when I first got there. There is a disgusting, rusty metal contraption, in the bathroom, holding the toilet tissue. Many of the outlets didn't work. The curtains are too small for the window so they do not close completely. There is an ice machine that charges 25 cents, in the lobby, but the owner does not provide a bucket. I had to borrow one from other staff. The wi-fi is absolute garbage!! I was there to attend my daughter's cheer competition so of course I was planning to be in the room, watching tv, during the time she wasn't competing. Unfortunately I could not do that because the tv buffers non stop. I enjoyed my trip and that area but I would never stay in this specific condo again!
