We truly enjoyed our stay at your property. We were very impressed by how clean and cozy it felt. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked and the backyard is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!
We stayed right after the hurricane. The owner was so generous and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was quick to clean up some debris from the storm and we had a wonderful time. Beautiful sunsets, dolphins, and close to beach, restaurants, and shopping.
I love this house there was 7 of us and had plenty of room.the in side of the house was great had everything we needed and more.the bathrooms where a little small but that was ok.the best part was the back yard and private dock,we did alot of fishing sunsets where amazing..we will be going back!!!
This was our first trip to Dallas and this was a great place to stay. It was convenient to downtown and had easy access to the interstate. The property worked well for us as we all had our own space, with the adults downstairs and the 2 teenage boys upstairs. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. The free garage parking was an added bonus. Checking in and out was a breeze. The only suggestion I would make is to install a TV in the downstairs bedroom. I would definitely recommend staying here while in Dallas.
Property was as described. Beds were very comfortable and thank goodness we had extra covers as it was very cold our first two nights. There. Some confusion over the fireplace insert for heat which we were not allowed to use and the furnace did not seem to provide much heat, but the company did bring over two small space heaters for us to use. Washing machine and dryer worked well. Basic supplies were available but no extras. Very good location, close to everything. Would stay here again

Great location.
Really great location. Convenient to everything. Front of property is not much to look at and there is an old boat kept in the front driveway, but still plenty of parking. Properly is quirky, with a lot of “do it yourself” looking repairs and additions, but it was still nice and well-equipped. Nice kitchen. Cozy rooms. Great views. Fire pit didn’t work from day one and they didn’t fix it during our week-long stay, which was disappointing since that was one of their main selling points. Dock is sketchy and dangerous and should probably be repaired a bit with more lights added before they let people use it regularly. But it’s usable. I just wouldn’t walk on it at night. Depth at end of dock is 2 ft max, so larger boats with deeper draft requirements won’t be able to dock there. Also, bring plenty of bumpers for your boat.

Birthday celebration
Celebrated my husbands 70 th birthday with adult children and granddaughter. House was very clean , two of the bathrooms were pretty small but not an issue. Floor plan was open layout which was good for a family of six adults and a toddler. The fire pit ran out of propane the second day so we sent an email and one was delivered the next day. Biggest issue was the construction of the house literally next door. The weather was great and we decided to spend the day outdoors and utilize the pool and dock however between the noise from next door as well as the mini bulldozer literally moving feet away from the fence there was no privacy. Obviously the owners had no control over the construction but had I realized we may have made other arrangements. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again
Our stay was great! The home is very clean & comfortable. Kitchen, baths & beds were stocked & comfortable. The frig did take the first night to cool down & was fine after that. Communication & response was clear. The only reason for a 4 star on Accuracy of property is bc of the dock. So if your boat and dockage is important, youll need to know a few things. The view & location is beautiful from the dock but it is along a fast zone of the Halifax and big boats will roll in Big waves so have plenty of bumpers. Theres NO cleats so tying up was challenging and with the tides, a smaller boat could get caught under. If you want to hose boat down, youll need to bring your own bc the one provided doesn't reach and theres pinhole leaks in it. We made it all work & there are certainly worse things, but people need to know so they're prepared. We did enjoy our stay: the interior, pool, grill and location are a win!
If you plan on using the gas firepit, check the gas tank to be sure its full. We didn't do this until last the night. Not a big deal; we should have checked it earlier.
We recommend and hope you enjoy the beautiful sunsets!

Exquisite!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house! We were most excited that we were able to bring our boat and utilize the dock access, which truly enhanced our vacation. The weather was fabulous, and we spent most of our time either on the boat or enjoying the pool.
We had a great time! Made great memories with beautiful sunsets over the water!! Perfect for our group to gather for double birthdays and attend the Daytona 400!!’
We had a wonderful time enjoying your beautiful home on the river! It was a perfect location for us as we experienced the College Nationals Dance Competition in Daytona Beach! We loved the views from your patio and the fenced yard was ideal for our dog. Thank you for sharing your home!
Pool area is the best part. We rented expecting to have access to the dock for a boat, but the owners boat took up the only usable spot to get on/off the boat. The door code is VERY annoying. 9 digits is ridiculous. We've stayed at other rentals and it's always just a 4 digit code. Kitchen light stopped working on day 2 or 3. All-in-all it was nice, but for the money I will be looking for something else next time.
We visited Daytona for BiketoberFest...House was plenty big for 3 couples and a single rider...only issue was parking for trucks + trailers + motorcycles...with some creative thinking and a super friendly neighbor we were able to work it out...if visiting the area again, I will certainly look this listing up...I just won't have as many vehicles ;-)

Perfect house!
We originally booked for ten days, but we loved the house and location so much we extended for another month. The views/sunsets from the backyard are stunning. We watched the dolphins play every evening. The house is extremely well equipped. Beds are comfortable, linens were good. Kitchen has everything needed. The house has more seating and lighting than any other rental we’ve been in and it made the house very comfortable. The kids loved the pool. We spent many evenings utilizing the outdoor grill and propane fire pit. Location cannot be beat. It’s central to everything, yet tucked away. Less than a mile to a Publix, convenience store and food options. Beach is only a few blocks away.
Sunset Palms on Halifax.
Would never recommend this property or property management company to anyone. Best part of the house are the palm trees at sunset.
House was dirty upon arrival
• Rat and cockroach dropping everywhere
• Previous guest’s dirty smelly clothes left in dresser
Dock unusable due to storm damage and neglect
• Missing boards from walk
• Screws sticking up from deck
• No place to secure boat
Yard was not fully fenced with sections fallen down and gates broken open, trash under deck, sheets of plywood covered windows and garage walls making use of kayaks impossible.
Heat did not work during cold front
Exposed wires sticking out from ceiling fan, many light switches did not work or had buttons missing
****Property Management company contacted with no resolution
We are requestion a full refund!!!!

Run down
Dont understand how people have given this a great review. There are just so many things to not overlook. I did not contact the property manager because these are not quick fixes. Broken tiles in the middle of the kitchen floor. Exposed wiring above living room fan. Vent on floor that wouldnt open unless cover was removed. Appliances need to be replaced. Oven didnt work and ice maker barely made ice. Some rooms freezing others hot. Pool and deck neglected. Deck is rotting, stair missing. Umbrella broken. Pool light cover missing/not working. No filter cover so everyone got sucked by surprise. Pool cleaner barely cleaned pool and threw chlorine tabs in the pool instead of the floating container. Random boat at dock. For the price we paid we expected better. Wish someone had warned us.only allows eight photos. I have more.
