Our room was adequate, but Old ..needs to be updated ..had a lot of odor, but we felt safe and slept well. Parking was an issue so we parked where we could and everything turned ok ..it was a decent night sleep and a beautiful view of the ocean at sunrise..and the price was very reasonable… we did not use the pool because we checked in late and left early, but it looked like it was in good shape

You get what you pay for… very nice front desk lady. Rooms are dated and questionable. I booked when my floors were getting laid, I went home late that night. Nice location. Free parking.

The pool was great and not too crowded. Lounge chairs overlooking the beach were great. Super easy access to the beach. A little on the lower end quality wise but you get what you pay for and it suited our needs perfectly.

There are absolutely no amenities. Not even a phone in the room. While the location and staff were nice it’s very dated. Beds were comfortable pool was great. Parking is a serious challenge. For a quick getaway it’ll be OK longer than a weekend no.

We had a very nice stay at the Driftwood Resort, even though it was a short one. If you’ve stayed at older beach properties before, you’ll know what to expect. There was a little bit of a musty smell and the room was definitely humid, but honestly that seems pretty typical for places this close to the water, especially when the windows open completely so you can enjoy the ocean air and view. The property is older and it shows in some places. We had a towel hanger come off the wall, and you can tell things have been painted over many times and the rusty fridge has charm, and some of the finishes aren’t exactly crisp and new. But none of those things made or broke our stay, and I definitely wouldn’t consider them a reason not to stay here. Check-in was pretty basic and there aren’t a ton of amenities, but the real reason to stay here is the location. The pool was nice, beach access was wonderful, and their stretch of beach is absolutely beautiful. Being able to enjoy the view and walk right out to the water was exactly what we wanted. Parking was lucky. Feel like we got the last possible spot. Hopefully u Overall, we had a really nice night and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back to Ormond Beach again!

The staff was very helpful. I needed to iron and I went down to the office and they gave me one to use. The balconies could use some TLC. I know that drains drain on the balcony, but they could clean up the area with the water drains. It was dirty. The bed was comfortable enough pillows, which is good I like that they have regular cable and not only streaming Pool area was very nice. Water was worn. I think the only really complaint I would have would be the balconies and that it doesn’t have an elevator. I was on the third floor, but with that being said, they did ask if that was OK before they put me in the room.

Enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and was ocean view. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was nice, refreshing, and clean. Even provided some pool fun items for the children. Easy access to the beach/ocean. And a shower to wash off coming off the beach. Fun activities and eateries near by. Beautiful sunrises!

For the price, you get a comfortable room that does exactly what it needs to do—plus an ocean view on top of that. One of the highlights was being able to step straight out from my room and enjoy a morning run on the beach. That alone made the stay worth it.
