Luxury Lake Cabin - Large Outdoor Living Area, Hot Tub, Pool Table

Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Lanier from this five bedroom, three bathroom luxury cabin situated on a peaceful and secluded lot in North Georgia. This three level cabin features 26 foot floor to ceiling windows, luxurious master suite, hardwood floors, three fireplaces, two large decks overlooking the lake, gourmet kitchen, open floor plan, hot tub, pool table, gentle slope to water, and deep-water dock in a quiet cove.

A favorite aspect of the house is the large outdoor screened living area off the kitchen which includes comfortable seating, hanging swing chair, fireplace, large screen TV, 10-person dining -- perched high in the trees with a beautiful view of the lake! And everyone loves the enclosed outdoor shower with a view of the lake.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy the lake and spend time with family and friends. The spacious cabin (sleeps 16) also makes a great location for corporate retreats and group outings. Bring your boat (or rent one nearby) and water toys during the spring and summer months. Relax and enjoy the changing leaves, autumn festivals, and holiday gatherings in the fall and winter.

The cabin is located 50 minutes north of downtown Atlanta off of GA 400. It is situated on Thompson Creek in the northwest corner of the lake away from all the rough water and crowds. There is convenient access to public boat ramps and a marina with fuel. The cabin is just 10 minutes from the historic town of Dahlonega with its quaint restaurants and shops. Also enjoy nearby golf, Amicalola Falls, pumpkin farms, North Georgia Premium Outlets, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and the best hiking and biking that North Georgia has to offer.

Highly recommend. Venue perfectly accommodated our family and friends throughout our week of stay. House is close to major grocery, coffee shops, and outlet shopping. A small convenience store and gas station is even closer. Host was kind and extremely responsive. The deer and birds were also a nice touch.

The Schock Family Reunion

A great time with my brothers and wives. The rental was very good with plenty of room. Lovely deck, views of the lake were great. Adequate kitchen and supplies for the 8 of us. We really enjoyed the screened in porch for our dinners. Very close to other amenities. Good Hot tub. Extras with the lake dock and canoe. Really fun time. We would recommend to friends.

Great Lake House

Fantastic!!

We loved our stay! The layout of the home was fantastic. We traveled with our teen kids and they had their own floor, while the adults had our space. The main level had enough seating for everyone. We spent a lot of quality time around the dining table. The water activities were great- the kids enjoyed the canoe and the paddle board! We loved that there were life jackets and amply seating up on the dock as well.The house had everything we needed! Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Family Christmas trip

So much fun!

We had a great time at the lake. We loved the canoe and screened in porch. We also enjoyed the 2 giant tables. They made family meals easy. The view from the house is gorgeous. The dock was amazing. Tons of deer. Great family reunion.

Parents 50th Anniversary

Wonderful Retreat

Our group of 12 adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home! The location is very quiet and on a nice part of the lake that isn't too busy. The screened porch and upper dock level were the most popular spots...and the pool table was great for passing the time while meals were prepared. Will be keeping this spot in mind for the future!

Wonderful views and location

Private yet convenient to all of the necessary amenities within ten minutes. Great views from all areas of the house. Beautiful lake and wonderful dock. Lots of games to keep kids entertained. Outstanding space for all three families to spread out and relax. Fantastic fireplaces!!! Enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. Host was most outstanding with communication as well as understanding with a couple of issues that did arise. Host accommodated immediate resolutions of the issues. Would most definitely book this property again. Preferably in the summer time to enjoy the lake properties to there fullest.

Very spacious!

The property is amazing. Very spacious and lots to do. Our wrestling team has stayed at various properties for away tournaments and this one was one of the best yet. Places for the kids to hang out and grow closer as a team. Hot tub to help loose that stubborn few ounces before weigh in.

Beautiful

The house is absolutely beautiful! We had family gather for a wedding and it was the perfect spot to come together. The kids absolutely loved swimming, paddling, and fishing. The adults loved the views and opportunity to relax. Nestled in its own nook, the home invited many deer in which everyone enjoyed watching. Host is extremely proactive and great at prompt communication. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing stay.

Nice and quiet location - overall home was OK. The great room and screened porch had a nice view of the lake. Outside metal dining table had no seat cushions so I couldn't sit out on deck to work or eat. Access to dock in the backyard is a bit steep with dense foliage on either side of the path to the water.

Best Lake House Ever

We rented this Lake House for our wedding week. We stayed here with most of our Bridal party and a few of their kids. The best part of this house was the fire place on the patio! This is where we spent most of our time. Dan the owner called to check-in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. He was great. They have all of the cookware and items needed for cooking as we did all of our own cooking. I highly recommend staying at this house

Amazing property

The pictures do not do the house justice. Other than renting a tritoon boat from the Port Royale Marina one day (great folks to deal with and about an hour ride back to the house at a casual speed), we never felt the need to leave the house. We encountered a couple days with rain, but there was still plenty to do inside and the screened attached porch still made us feel like we were outside. Dan was very responsive to a couple questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in Georgia, we would rebook without hesitating.

Super Lakefront Getaway

Nice cabin with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Nice decks and screened in room. Comfortable beds and good towels, mattresses and sheets. Plenty of seating and eating spaces for our family gathering. The pool table was enjoyed as well as the hot tub. Great location on Lake Lanier. Nice dock with canoe, paddle board and life jackets. The dock was good to use with our boat rental. The kitchen was well appointed for multiple family meals. Our host checked in with us a couple of times. When questions came up, he was quick to reply. Beautiful, private property. It was great for quiet, recreation and relaxation, with shopping and amenities in town close by. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to vacation there again.

A beautiful and fun lake house

This place is gorgeous and spacious! My family only stayed only a few April nights...we all wanted it to last forever. There's plenty of great outdoor spaces with great views and comforts for relaxing and playing and eating. There's a well supplied kitchen open to a beautiful living room with dining area, great also for playing with my grandchildren. The downstairs pool table/ with pingpong table over gave us a fun tournament time (I let my sons and daughter-in-laws win ; )) And the dual-level fishing dock on Lake Lanier...wow it was great! Got to see my grandson catch his first fish there! Could go on and on. In summary, this lake house is a beautiful, private resort-like place for a wonderful family vacation.

Fantastic getaway

We had a large group, 10 people with 3 different families and everyone had their own space to retreat to, but also tons of room for all to gather and enjoy our time together. We enjoyed all amenities including the fireplace, screened-in and open-air patios, fireplace, hot tub and especially the pool table. We even had an impromptu game of corn hole. The tables both inside and on screened-in patio allowed us all to eat together or just sit and talk. The location of the home was close to multiple small towns allowing access to many stores, including grocery stores and general shopping. Lots of restaurants including Whataburger, Chicken Salad Chick, Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes and others. For Mexican food we highly recommend Senor Fiesta. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this property. And Dan was a great host and super-responsive with the few issues we experienced.

Perfect family reunion getaway

It was a little tricky to find at first but once we realized we were on a private driveway it was no problem. Three patio decks plus one outdoor enclosed patio with tv and fireplace gave everyone plenty of space. The hot tub is very relaxing especially after a long day fishing with kids off the private dock. The pool table was a hit for some friendly family competition. Full kitchen and fancy outdoor barbecue grill is perfect for all cooking needs. Walmart, Publix Grocery and outlet mall are less than 10 minutes away. Kids enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s’mores and fishing off the dock. Even caught a couple cat fish which was a first for the little ones. Overall it was a perfect hidden getaway where kids can have fun and experience nature and for adults to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Very highly recommended.
