The chap at reception was great, but the property is currently being rebranded, I think, and my room and my cousin's on 5th and 6th floors respectively were tiny and furniture very rough-shod. Not enough powerpoints. To boil the jug for a hot drink unless unplug something else, or use the outlets in the bathroom . The bedside reading light wasnt plugged in, and couldn't be because there was no powerpoint in reach of the cord. There was one down beside the other side of the bed, but there was no bedside table to put it on on that side because there wasn't room for one. However, our friend who was given a room on 2nd floor had a large, spacious room that looked like it had had a recent makeover. Hopefully the rest of the property will receive the same treatment. (And the second lift will get fixed!) The price though was very reasonable, so you get what you pay for, and only a short walk from Adelaide Oval if that's the focus of your visit. Immediate surroundings have noisy nightlife on the weekends, though there are free earplugs available from reception. You'll probably need them.

Good location on Rundle Mall. We were just there for one night & checked in after hours, which was easy enough - you just call a phone number provided in an email. Parking was already validated for us, in the Wilson’s carpark, so that was really helpful. Cute little touches in the room such as hot chocolate sachets & Tim tams! The toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice too. The bed & pillows were comfy & the room was cosy. It had everything we needed for a night’s stay. If you’re after coffee in the morning, there’s a little coffee kiosk in the Adelaide Arcade. Check out was easy, as the keys were just put back in the lock box. Security deposit was refunded quickly too, most places take ages to refund this, so that was great too.

Good , close to restaurants and bakery

This is a hotel that has seen better days. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, there is just not enough that is up to the modern standards of other hotels. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star in terms of hospitality. 4 star in terms of amenities.
