"Fripp Family Creek House": Private Dock, Deck, Screened Porch, Near Beach & Island Amenities!

"Communication was easy and quick. When we arrived, the house was 83 inside and they had it handled right away but it did take a while for things to cool down. Things were ok otherwise, but I would suggest they fix a few things for future visitors. The downstairs bedroom, to us, was not usable. Thankfully we didn’t need the extra space and everyone slept upstairs because the ceiling down there was full of what looked like water damage/mold and holes and it smelled like mildew. There were also two roaches crawling down there when we first arrived and decided no one would sleep down there. The refrigerator was missing the door shelf bars so we couldn’t use that storage at all for jars, sauces, etc. The pantry light didn’t work. The sink in the shared bathroom upstairs was clogged and unusable. The patio lounge furniture was sun baked and cracking, and the outdoor table was rusting. The rug in the dining room was very stained and gross-looking. Although these things didn’t make our stay terrible, it did make us not want to return to this house. We did enjoy the large, cozy living room and comfortable recliners, as well as the view of the canal where we got to see dolphins jumping and catch some sting rays! But again, a few upgrades would make this place a lot better for future guests."

"We cannot say enough good things about the property and Barbie and Matt! We’ve been to Fripp five or six times now, and this is our favorite house we’ve ever been in. The house is beautiful, clean, just as described, and the location is fantastic. The included golf cart is also a huge bonus. Barbie and Matt are very helpful and always respond quickly to any questions."

"What a beautiful house for our stay at Fripp. Kitchen had all the cookware we could possibly need. The porches were fantastic for viewing the marsh and wildlife. The bedrooms are large and spacious and the shower upstairs I never wanted to leave. In the garage you can find chairs, umbrellas and bikes."

"The location was ideal for us as we were multiple families staying together for a golf tournament. The kitchen was well equipped, except not enough kitchen towels. We had to contact the property management group to come back to do additional cleaning of the outdoor dining area as it was quite dirty. The gas grill was in very poor and dirty condition and frankly needs replaced.Also, it quickly became a parent that there was no hot water our first evening. After doing some of our own troubleshooting, we discovered the breaker to the hot water heater was off. There is also an issue with raccoons in the evening as wellDespite the above issues, beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space with hangers. Check in and out was very easy,Space itself seemed smaller than we expected. ."
