"The home was exactly what we were hoping for. It had beautiful views right on the water, we were able to spend time enjoying the views and fishing, then hop in the car and drive 30-40 min to the French Quarter and enjoy fun shopping and city life. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Staff was incredible friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Rooms are pet friendly and they do have a dander smell and there were some stains in carpet. Beds were comfy. Rooms needed a little update. Advertised to have free breakfast but its onky M-F one sign saif 4am-6am. If you have kids may need to find alternative like we did for traveling on a weekend. We recommed lil lees it was delicious and afforadable. "

"We had a fantastic day at Elsa‘s Place. My 12-year-old son and I stayed here during a father and son fishing trip. The owners, staff, and accommodations were excellent. The chocolate chip cookies and breakfast sandwiches they may for us before our early morning Fishing departure were fantastic as well. We will be back!"

"The property was undergoing a few renovations during our stay, which I was fully aware of before I arrived. Things were a little dirty but that was just from the renovation. "

"Had everything it said it did. It is on the 3rd floor which might have been in the listing. Knowing that would not have changed my mind about staying. It just gave us extra steps. Kitchen was stocked with the basic cooking supplies. There were small appliances but we didn't use them. The only complaint I can think of is that the washing machine didn't have hot water and it was in an unfinished room. I would guess it could get pretty hot in there in the summer. The dock and all outdoor areas were amazing. We would book again with Bayou Life."

"This was a nice place to stay outside of the craziness of the city on our recent trip to New Orleans with easy access to everything we wanted! There was only 2 of us so it worked out great and the king bed and pillows were the best I've ever had staying anywhere! Was nice to be able to sit on the porch and enjoy a slow morning."
