8/10 Good
"Beautiful aprtments. Landscaping on grounds was nicely done. Beach area could have been cleaner. LOVED the history and would love to see the first level. Drove me crazy that I couldn’t. AMentities and supplies on site were way over the top! From games, art supplies, tv/DVDs, toiletries etc. Thank you for an interesting place!"
"Although this hotel is nothing fancy, the front desk employees were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I asked for a quiet room and even though the room was directly over the dining area, I never heard a thing. I thought the bed was going to be too firm, but slept like a baby. Breakfast was the usual buffet, but it’s free so no complaints. The only complaint I have is that they advertised the ability to “cast” premium channels from your phone to the tv but found out the tv wasn’t connected to the internet. Limited channels available otherwise. Would definitely stay here again"
"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
"The property was very clean and quaint. It was much smaller than I had envisioned, even though it was clearly depicted in the picture shown the line. Having an old lady bladder. And having to come down those stairs from the attic to use the bathroom during the nightwere very frightening however they were clearly marked to take your time. My husband who main objective was to fish was able to catch a few perch in the inlet right outside our door. Chautauqua Lake resort was not far away.We did enjoy your stay."
