"Pleasant and quiet cottage on a bluff overlooking Lake Erie. Nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable. We spent six nights: enjoyed reading and relaxing while looking out over the lake. We will stay again the next time we visit family in the area. "

"What a great place. Very comfortable, clean and loved the location. Every room has everything you need. The kitchen was very well stocked. Loved the walk-in shower relaxing under the stars and admiring the amazing sunsets. Spent most of the time relaxing, walking on the beach and looking for beach glass. You do have to check out the history of the home and the man who built the place. Check out the photos and documents pertaining to the person and the property.Jules and Austin were great. Enjoyed talking with them. Will definitely stay again.Thank you from both of us for the wonderful stay. Didn't want to leave."
"We stayed at the cabin for a girls getaway and it was perfect! So peaceful! Beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Very clean and well stocked."

"Never received check in information and no response from messages or phone calls. Tried multiple times and in every way we could to contact the host and VRBO. Ended up in a nearby hotel for the night since there was no response. Very disappointed to say the least and I expect a full refund!!!!"

"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
