Book in desk closed, had to book in at back packers next door. Could not book in until 2.00 pm. Bed very hard, did not have a good nights sleep. Shower very poor. Would not stay there again.

Good value budget accomodation in centre of Darwin

Very convenient location in downtown area of Darwin. Close to supermarket, restaurants, airport shuttle bus, harbour precinct. Accomodation is budget but rooms good value for the price, and service friendly and efficient. Access to free wifi limited.

The Inn was close to Coles, Liquorland, local dining and local pubs. We heard no noise from the 3 nearby pubs when we were in our room. The Value Inn is exactly that. No frills. Sleeping accommodation, TV, Shower/toilet. BUT it is near all the places you want to go.

Only if you're desperate!

Really glad we were only staying 1 night and had a very early flight the next day (or I probably would have left). It was the worst hotel / motel I have ever stayed in. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet taking off, the air con was very old and so loud we had to turn it off to sleep, the taps in the bathroom shrieked when on (trapped air, I guess), the mattresses are covered in plastic and very poor quality. It was cheap but it wasn't That cheap! The drunk angry woman screaming in the corridor didn't help the poor experience and I can't blame the hotel for that but I got the impression that is just expected there.
