You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Rural Retreat

Kick back, relax and unwind at Kohlten Stays. Located in Howard Springs on 5 acres of land with beautiful lush tropical gardens surrounded by Native bush, this stay is the best of both - close to Darwin city as well as some of the best the Territory has to offer.

The retreat is fully self-contained with 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It has a good size kitchen, dining and living area. If you enjoy the outdoors, it also has a large deck area with outdoor seating and a BBQ. It sleeps 4 adults comfortably with each room containing a queen bed and enough space to put a porta cot in too (porta cot available on request).

The accommodation is on the same property as the owners but created to feel completely private. With separate entry and outdoor space, defined by the use of gardens. The gardens surrounding the stay is not just beautiful, some of it is also edible.
We have quite a bit of wild life on our property including resident curlews, burdiken ducks and 70 chickens

If you are a family that is staying and need some extra things such as high chairs or porta cots we have them on request.
