"The location is wonderful for exploring the Alhambra area. You can walk to the Sacromonte and Albaicin areas as well. It was nice to have a little kitchen. "The property is gorgeous. Very clean, and an interesting mix between the historic look of the Alhambra and the modern look of the hotel itself. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful and make for a romantic stroll late at night. My wife isn’t that sappy but there was a moment when we entered a courtyard at night and the lighting was just perfect and she leaned over and said “you gotta give me a kiss” :) The staff is friendly and helpful, but I must warn that they are incredibly busy and have a lot of responsibilities. For example the same person who checked us in was also the valet, the porter, and the concierge. That means if it’s busy you’re going to have to wait your turn. Be understanding to the staff, they are good people! The rooms are comfortable and are charming. For example our bed had four posts and some netting which gave it a bit of an exotic vibe. The wooden shutters were a nice touch, and we had a great view of a garden courtyard down below. The bathroom was very spacious with a modern shower, toilet, and bidet and a huge sink. The bathroom would meet most western expectations. The hotel restaurant is convenient, and the outdoor seating are has a fantastic view of the valley below. Wait staff are busy so again be considerate and patient. One important note - if you’re not in decent shape you’re going to struggle getting down to the city and then back up to the hotel. It’s a half mile climb up the hill. Taxis/Ubers can be expensive!"

"This property is actually one of the best that we stayed in I do wish the room was a little bit larger but it was clean it was modernized and the staff were excellent my wife was pleased with the cafe at the ground floor which she compared to all the other places that she's been to and it was better than some restaurants and better than some of the cafes we will been through throughout this whole trip. Staff were extremely helpful and professional."

"This is a sweet hotel with a lot of decor from the 1950's and 60's that bring in a historical feeling. The rooms are very clean - even under the bed! The staff is super helpful and kind.
