"Great stay . Had couple of problems that were taken care of . Love the boathouse!! Sit and look at Douglas lake for hours . Hot tub had problems with 2 jets not working properly, might have been my lack of knowledge with hot tub . "

"We had the best time the Fourth of July weekend staying at this house on the lake. KesLey was excellent and answered all our questions and responded very quickly. As an added bonus, we also rented a boat from them for the entire weekend. It could not have been more perfect and hassle free! We had plenty of space to spread out and it was nice having 4 bathrooms. The “kids” loved playing ping pong and hanging out in the hot tub. The hill to the dock is steep but doable unless maybe you have a senior in your group or someone with mobility issues. We will definitely be booking this house again. "

"While we didn’t use all the amenities, there were plenty. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the towels were plentiful, large and moisture wicking and the furnishings were comfortable. The host emailed after arrival to check that everything was fine. The house has a beautiful view and is a truly wonderful place to stay. We will book with them again."

"We rented this house to be close to the lake for the guys in the family. We were able to park a boat trailer and have plenty of parking for other cars. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and game room. The water is lowered in the winter months and we would love to stay again in the summer when the water is up and use the paddle board and kayaks! Home was nice and clean. "

I would have liked to give this home a higher rating, but it lacked the attention to detail needed to make it a highly rated vacation rental. Here are a few reasons why I couldn't give this vacation rental a higher rating: - Cleanliness of ground level - Smell of cooked fish, crumbs under the dining table, apparent spilled drink on side table and floor. I purchased cleaning supplies and took care of these issues. Overall the home was clean, but not what I would expect at a vacation rental. The property management company texted me on the first day to ask about the cleanliness and I made them aware of these issues. -No kitchen essentials like salt and pepper, coffee and tea, sweeteners, etc. There were plenty of dishes, cups and utensils. - Beds were firm (which I understand is a preference), but difficult for me to sleep on. The linens weren't soft. - The lake was dry with docks sitting on land. There's an advisory for no boating, fishing and swimming. This would be a disappointment for guests who booked this home to enjoy the lake. This was not disclosed at the time of booking. I booked this vacation rental for 9 days and left after 6 mostly due to my lack of sleep. I own a vacation rental and believe attention to detail and guest experience are key. A little TLC would elevate this home. "
