"We stayed in the building in the back, room is not as big but it is good for two of us. A little dated but it is clean. Buffet dinner was really good with many seafood options which we like. Staying at the hotel they give us a 20% off voucher made it even better. Lastly, we have a late flight we stored our luggages and used the pool then visited old town one more time."

"This hotel is almost perfect. Rooms all new, good size and all amenities. We had a fridge which proved useful. Large balcony with a sea view (upgraded to this from a partial sea view) and a huge bathroom with twin sinks and a decent shower. The bed was very comfortable - one slight gripe: we asked for feather pillows which were not available. Toiletries were in large dispensers - for the standard of hotel, a more prestigious brand might have been chosen, but I'm splitting hairs here. There is a rooftop pool; even when busy we managed to find space to sit by it. The spa is wonderful; I used the sauna and salt room. There's more, and a gym too. Rooms were made up generally while we ate breakfast from the extensive buffet with a choice of indoor or outdoor shaded seating. Lots of vegan options including smoked tofu, peanut butter, lots of dried fruit and nuts and some vegan cereals. Most products had allergens marked, so easy to choose the right things. There was a good choice of fresh breads daily. Nice to see some unusual things like ginger shots, kombucha, fresh figs available and a good choice of herbal teas, including a nice apple tea. Turn-down service meant we could have fresh towels in the evening. The hotel is a short walk from the beach. The nearby promenade is accessible from two different entrances/exits, requiring a key card to get in or out. All staff are friendly and helpful. We got a late check out (16:30) for a reasonable price. Great hotel!"

"This is a lovely hotel with some of the most gorgeous views from our balcony. The staff at this hotel were fantastic, friendly and couldnt do enough to make our holiday memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds available although we noticed by the end of our weeks stay people had started reserving sunbeds early in the morning. Although the hotel has a policy that says sunbeds can only be reserved for an hour this doesnt seem to be enforced but as I have said there are so many sunbeds near the pool that it didnt bother us in the slightest. The hotel is away from Dubrovnik old town and the Gruz port area. Both areas are walkable but it is quite hilly. There always taxis available though if you want to go sightseeing."

"I truly enjoyed my stay at Heritage Hotel Lucia. It is a small, beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely terrace garden where I enjoyed breakfast during my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I instantly felt at home. My room was very clean, bright, and fresh-smelling. As a first-time visitor to Dubrovnik, I was very fortunate to find Heritage Hotel Lucia, especially because of its location. It is in a very convenient spot, just a 5–10 minute walk from the Old Town, so I never needed to take a bus or Uber back and forth. At the same time, because the hotel is outside the Old Town, I didn’t have to drag my luggage over cobblestone streets or navigate steep stairs—a huge advantage when traveling with a luggage! On my departure day, my taxi picked me up right in front of the hotel for my very early 4:00 a.m. airport transfer. I was especially touched that the staff kindly prepared a breakfast box for me to take to the airport. That thoughtful gesture really meant a lot. I would highly recommend Heritage Hotel Lucia to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. The beautiful setting, convenient location, clean and comfortable room, and—most of all—the wonderful staff made my stay truly memorable. Thank you Heritage Hotel Lucia! Ad"

"The hotel exceeded our expectations in that it was in a wonderful location just a short distance from the old town. The housekeeper was one of best we have ever had! She was so efficient and friendly each time we saw her. Our room was cleaned punctually each morning to an excellent standard. We were room 108. We ate one evening at the Taj Mahal restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The pool area of the hotel is very small but was adequate for our trip. Our only complaint relates to the female bar staff at the Piano Bar. In my opinion they did not represent the friendliness and welcoming appeal of the hotel. Each evening after our meal we went to the bar for a cocktail. On each occasion the female staff were rude and basically not bothered! On our last evening I went up to the bar to order our drinks. The female staff were standing chatting and laughing. They totally ignored me so I stood there until a male staff member arrived from the outside area. As in previous evenings he was both pleasant and efficient in taking my order and making us feel welcome rather than an inconvenience, which was how his female colleagues had definitely acted. I feel this needs to be addressed as I was not alone in being treated this way. On our last morning we were allowed a late check out for a small fee. This was wonderful and greatly appreciated. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and return there again if visiting Dubrovnik."
