"Large room with a beautiful view! Loved the hot tub and the breakfast was small, but perfect. The layout of the bathroom was a bit tight, but the positives of the location, price and size of the overall room outweighed the bathroom’s awkward layout. "

"Friendly staff, but property very outdated. My third stay and it seems more run down each time. Continental breakfast very basic. Parking available but at a small nightly fee. No maid service even for multi night stay. "

"Room was clean and having a two-room suite was a plus. The balcony with a single chair only provides a view of trees--you cannot see the ocean from the hotel but Doheny State Beach is only a block away."

"There is major construction at this hotel. I was advised the only way to avoid some of the noise was to pay for an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel. Once there it was where they parked the construction equipment and once that started was far from quiet!"

"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!"
