"Het appartement is ruim.Echter: - de bedden zijn slecht (oud, versleten en doorgezakt)- er hangen diverse stopcontacten uit de muur (is dus niet veilig)- de stelling in de grote slaapkamer valt bijna uit elkaar, zakt ook door als je er iets op legt- als je in het bad doucht, voel je de bodem bewegen- de parkeerplaats is veel te klein. "The hotel is modern and clean, but expect only the minimum basics. It was tucked away in a corner where you had to go through an alley to find, and any sort of restaurant or grocery was a bit of a walk or a drive. The hotel was advertised as "sound proof", but we heard the next room's alarm go off in the morning (for example). The room we had for three people was a tight fit. We chose this place based on rate, and you certainly get what you pay for."

"The room was a bit tight, but comfortable. The room did get a bit warm at night, so we slept with the window open to keep it comfortable. It is non-smoking but we found smoke (marijuana) in the hallways and at times strong enough to creep into the room. Not one seemed to complain, and we did not want to cause waves. Julia was very helpful and told us what to see, what to do, and where to eat. She has great customer service skills. Breakfast has an assortment of items and we loved the bread and cheeses. But there were also eggs, bacon, and cereals. The hotel is just on the edge of the old town area, so shops start about 15 meters away, and you can find cafes, restaurants, chocolate shops, and clothes stores all within walking distance. Plus the buses travel everywhere, we were able to go both north and south, east and west for several miles just exploring. Bus stop just a few meters away, and train station about 1/2 km. "

"The room was ok. No heat in bathroom unless you pulled string and went off again. Parking is limited but we were lucky to get the last spot. There is a small town where we found a nice restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately there was a group of people who stayed up late yelling, knocking on doors, and making lots of noise in the hallway outside our 1st floor room. The Abbaye itself was fascinating and worth walking through. We brought some beer to support and it was very good. So mixed feelings."
