  • Beautiful Sugar Creek winds around the large screened porch of the Wildacre cabin, only yards away. Sleep with your windows open and let the bubbling of the creek lull you to sleep at night.

    Enjoy a lazy afternoon in the hammock by the creek or relax in the rockers on the screened porch. Table and chairs available on screened porch for creekside dining in comfort. Picnic tables by the creek. Toast marshmallows in the campfire ring. Hike the trail on the property that crosses the creek several times, or hike on the Pin-Hoti Trail (joins the Appalachian Trail at Benton McKaye), only a mile away.

    Wildacre is located in the North Georgia mountains, off US 76/GA 282 between Ellijay and Chatsworth, GA. Near Fort Mountain State Park, Carters Lake, Chief Vann House, New Echota, outlet malls in Dalton, and antiquing in Ellijay.

This place is just what we were looking for. A peaceful and beautiful getaway. The front porch was amazing! The cabin is so cozy. We could have stayed here forever! The sound of the water flowing down the creek was so calming! We enjoyed the fireplace inside the cabin and the firepit out by the creek! Once we arrived we did not leave until it was time to check out! We can’t wait to go back. Also, the host was amazing. She was very quick to respond with any questions we had!

Heaven on earth

Me and my family had the best stay! It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek from the front porch, hiking up the creek, shooting our pistols, and just letting the kids explore. Definitely would recommend if you’re trying to get away for a few days.

Peaceful Retreat

An absolute gem! Couldn’t get enough of the lovely screened porch with the sounds of the creek and gentle breeze. Loved the solitude of the property but easy paved access. Other than a quick trip into Ellijay and a short hike on the Pinhoti Trail, I enjoyed just relaxing at the property. It had everything I needed - the welcome basket was a nice surprise! I’ll definitely keep this on my list!

Relaxing getaway

Cabin was remote but still easy to get to other things in the area. Sitting on theScreened in back porch listening to the creek babbling was just what we needed. Crossed the creek to explore the trail-lots of fun! The welcome basket was a nice surprise! What a peaceful place—would highly recommend. The rushing creek on the property is amazing! We loved the sound of the heavy rain on the tin roof, the wood burning fireplace, the coffee on the screened porch and so much more! Peaceful Getaway

Stayed here with family and it was beautiful! Loved playing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, swinging on the front porch, sipping wine by the fire pit. The cabin is beautiful with so many great details. Check out the toilet paper roller in the second bathroom! Wonderful gift basket was waiting for us upon arrival. Checking in/out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!
