"A stunning and tranquil hotel located inside the Lijiang Dayan ancient town. The staff are all helpful and polite. They provided snacks and brewed tea during check-in, as well as afternoon tea that was delivered directly to our room. They also offered special services such as laundry and turndown service. "Disappointing Management & Unmet Standards - Refund Promised but Delayed The property failed to meet basic accommodation standards (specifically regarding cleanliness and persistent cigarette odors). Upon my immediate complaint, the owner explicitly promised a full refund in writing, and I checked out on the same day. However, the refund process via Expedia has been unnecessarily complicated. While the natural scenery in Dali is beautiful, the management here was a significant letdown."
