"We have stayed at the Royal on the Park a few times. We really like the convenient location, easy parking & very helpful staff. The hotel is well maintained, room is very spacious. Will definitely return again."

Novotel Brisbane Airport
6/10 Okay
"The miniature gym is a joke. With three people packed, no room for somebody else. Elliptical not properly working. Internet is slow and intermittent. Would not stay there again."

ibis Brisbane Airport Hotel
6/10 Okay
"1. Too far from domestic airport to the hotel(not only 10 minutes walk ), also it’s not really safe for female if walking alone at night ( especially go through the car park ) 2. It’s not free If take the shuttle bus $9 per person 3. No shuttle bus service after 4pm"

Imperial Motel Windsor
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable stay. The bed and linen were excellent, and the room was compact but efficiently set up. It was also surprisingly quiet considering its location on the highway, and everything inside was tidy and clean. The only downside was the check‑in process the system took a while to let me in but once inside, the stay was great overall."

Swiss-Belhotel Woolloongabba, Brisbane

Stamford Plaza Brisbane
4/10 Poor
"My wife Kim and I recently stayed at the Stamford Plaza Hotel Brisbane after booking through Expedia. On arrival, we were advised there would be valet parking, however there was no valet parking available and we had to self-park. While this was not the biggest issue, it was not what we were expecting. The main problem was the room itself. It was absolutely freezing. We reported that the heating was not working, and maintenance attended the room three times during our stay. Unfortunately, despite these repeated visits, the heating was never repaired or made to work properly. The room remained very cold throughout our stay, which made it extremely uncomfortable. The only solution provided was one extra blanket, which was nowhere near adequate. We were also told we would receive a $75 reduction to use at La Boca restaurant. Based on this, we attended the restaurant and had a meal there. However, when it came time to pay, the $75 discount was not applied and we were charged the full amount. This was very disappointing, especially as we had specifically chosen to dine there because of the discount we were told we would receive. Overall, while the hotel is in a good location, the stay itself was very disappointing. The heating issue was never rectified despite multiple requests, the room was uncomfortably cold, and the promised restaurant discount was not honoured. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we were not happy with our stay and would be hesitant to return."

Amora Hotel Brisbane
10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel and I liked the room layout and the staff were great. At $550 a night I don’t think water in the room is too much to ask for along with a safe kettle and tea bags of a quality above floor sweepings and definitely not instant coffee! There were negatives but not the hotel’s fault. We didn’t realise it was a sporting event in Brisbane over the weekend that we were there, Magic Rounds? This meant that the hotel was MUCH more expensive, 3x the regular rate and an utter Bogan fest’. I had assumed that this was an Australian stereotype but they were out in force. Neanderthals with no shoes, shocking hair cuts, creepy moustaches and no social etiquette whatsoever. Wandering the corridors barefoot with a beer bottle in one hand and a phone in the other shouting loudly into it. Doors being slammed constantly, loud in the corridors and rooms and the whole place smelled of eau de McDonalds/KFC with the litter left outside the rooms a testament to its occupants. God forbid they got in a lift with you, there are weight limits in lifts for a reason. I really feel for the staff, and the housekeeping in particular, who had to deal with the mentally challenged. Would I stay again? Probably. Would I visit Brisbane during Magic Rounds again? Has Hell Frozen over yet?"

The Star Grand Brisbane
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here for a couple of nights celebrating a friends wedding, not a single note that could make this less than a 10/10. Infinite options of amenities restaurants and bars. Stunning location and beautiful finishing. Hopefully will be back in the future."
