I don't usually feel a need to do this but after seeing my room I checked for bedbugs. Thankfully I didn't find any. BrownDot Hotel Bong-Duk
Booked it for an overnight transit. It had everything we needed for the night. The surrounding area had lots of restaurants and the hotel was close to the subway station. Breakfast was good too.

Toyoko Inn Daegu Dongseong-ro
Clean but tiny room in the heart of Daegu. Having to pay for parking is ridiculous. Didn't spend too much time in the room, but did notice that there was a dearth of electrical outlets.
