Close to the beach and if you want to go in the city over the river you can get a taxi for about 2 euros. Room was nice with a balcony, but not too many sockets

Three vacation weeks for a Lunar new year

Really enjoyed my stay at Dam Tien Hotel. Price was reasonable. Nice and clean Hotel. Checking ten days early than my planned dates Staff were pleasantly accommodated a nice room with a view to the beach.

The room was appropriate for the price, but the mattress was as soft as plywood. I hate to give a lower than 5 star review but if you take away the amazing personality and helpfulness from the staff, it would be a 2 star review

Hotel schön, Da Nang für uns allerdings nicht

Wir waren 10 Tage in Da Nang. Das Hotel an sich war völlig in Ordnung und das Zimmer sauber. Die Lage des Hotels ist wenige Meter vom Strand. Der große Nachteil: Hat man ein Zimmer an der Frontseite, bekommt man die volle Breitseite des Verkehrslärms inkl. Kreisel und den Lärm von den vielen Baustellen (rund um die Uhr) ab. Die Verständigung ist schwierig, es wird kaum englisch gesprochen. Die Umgebung bekommt von uns einen Punkt wegen des wirklich schönen Strandes. Wer aber Vergnügen und ein Nachtleben sucht, ist in dieser Gegend falsch. Es gibt massig Hotels und überteuerte Restaurants, ab 22:30 Uhr ist diese Ecke allerdings so gut wie tot, mit Ausnahme der wenigen Buden am Strand. Unser Fazit: Vielleicht ist es in anderen Gegenden von Vietnam schöner, Da Nang war für uns jedoch eine Enttäuschung, wir werden diese Stadt nicht nochmal besuchen.
