"This is an excellent property, well maintained and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice option for the chilly October evenings. Having the pool in the summer I'm sure would be very enjoyable with nice seating and dining areas outside. Port-En-Bessin has wonderful amenities from groceries to shopping and restaurants. Our host was responsive to our questions. Kitchen with everything necessary if you really wanted to prepare meals, we enjoyed the local cuisine. Highly recommended!!!"

"Fantastic position, right on the harbour, with shops (bakery, fish market, small supermarket) and good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Parking was easy right outside, but we did use the garage. Further afield there was lots to see. Bayeux is close by, while we visited Arromanches-les-Bains and Pegasus Bridge, plus the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. This was not a planned ‘D-day’ visit but it really gripped (and moved) me. "

"This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food and wines."
