We enjoyed our stay in the Black Hills. The cabin was just perfect for us and our dog, very peaceful and scenic. Everything was top notch in the cabin and the host was friendly and responsive to any questions. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get away!
I cannot imagine how this stay could have been any better. We felt so welcome. The cabin was spotless and the extra touches were so thoughtful. Thank you for sharing your retreat
This was our second time staying here and we already are thinking about next time. We love the location. It is close to all the attractions, yet very private. We love our time here!!
Cabin was very clean and quiet. Owners included many extras to make our stay comfortable. Cabin was in a central location to the scenic parks including Custer state park, wind cave, jewel cave and reasonable day trip drives to Badlands as well as Devils Tower. The cabin was a great place to return and relax after exploring all day. Thank you and hope to return again soon!
A perfect location for us and our dog. We wanted to be in a scenic area with privacy but not too far away from town. The cabin was very clean and exceptionally well stocked. We cooked several meals and had all the utensils and cookware we needed. We would certainly stay there again!
This property was very clean. Excellent location. Close to Custer, but very private. This property has everything you need. The price is right, and the owners do a good job with communicating with you.
This is our second time starting in this cozy little cabin. It is perfect for my husband and myself and our little dog. It is furnished with every thing we need and so welcoming with treats on the counter and cheesecake in the fridge. Don and Terri are there for whatever you need to make sure your stay is the best it can be!
A perfect cabin for two, thoughtful amenities and things that work well. Great porch and grill even a gas fire pit! The owners made every thing easy and really kept us informed.
Handy to town but remote enough to be very private. We had a good get away here!
I Highly recommend it for a peace and quiet stay away.
WE HAVE NEVER FELT MORE AT HOME AND MORE PEACEFUL AT A VACATION SPOT! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We were so sad to leave that we made a reservation for next year.
Cant wait to come back to this little diamond in the mountains!
My husband said , of all the places we have ever stayed, this was my favorite! And we are over 80
We loved the privacy. We. Couldn’t believe all the things available to us to make our stay at the cabin more comfortable. Everything you could think of was there, not to mention the food in cupboards and freezer if we needed it. We loved how cute it was!
This was the perfect location to see all of the sites with easy driving. The cabin is situated in a quiet and safe spot. The listing says it all. The cabin was stocked with all of your daily needs. Do not worry if you forgot anything, they have you covered. Don and Terri were very responsive and made our stay a great experience. Thank you!
We are two friends along with Abby, the dog. This was tied for the top two rentals to-date. Absolutely not a thing wanting. Don and Terri are the best hosts yet. Everything in the cabin works and is very good value. Cooking is a dream. Abby was able to roam freely around the property and loved it. This cabin is highly recommended. We will return.
The property is well located to all of the must-see places in the black hills. We were out all day, and it was a great place to come back to and rest and rejuvenate for the next day's adventure. The cabin is well stocked with anything you will need and didn't realize you need. I wanted a scissors and opened a drawer, there was some scissors. The shower was great temperature and water flow. Perfect home away from home for 2. We would definitely book again!
I would give this property 10 stars if I could, it was fantastic, just what we were looking for with us and our 2 dogs (senior and young) for 4 nights before we headed out camping. It was one of the cleanest cabins I have stayed in, very comfortable with everything you need, I love the wood decor and all of the special touches, and the hosts are wonderful! The best part though for us is the outside! Remote location with miles of National Forest right out the door, great views of Crazy Horse and the hills, there was a small RV camping area over the hill to the one side, but we never saw another person out there. It is up off a lightly used gravel road which wasn't a problem for us, our dogs are pretty well trained, quickly learned their boundaries, and didn't go near it. The small/deck porch was organized such that I could also block off the entry/exit with a camping mat and hang out with the dogs there and not have to watch them. We loved it so much that we already booked our second stay for next year before we left!
