We spent three nights to bike and hike in the park and Mickelson trail which you can ride to from the condo. Good restaurants nearby to walk to. Would stay there again if in the area.
Property was very clean and well stocked. Hosts made available many "extras", including snacks and beverages, that weren't expected, but very much appreciated. Great place to stay!

We stayed in another property of the owner who kindly put us there because Expedia had not Communicated our original reservation. Our host Candace did a wonderful job of preparing the new place and making us very happy. I highly recommend Candace and her properties.
This was the perfect size and location for my family of 6. Everything was super clean and new. They included a state parks pass, which we used, and had several other included goodies, like some snacks and freebies to local establishments. Communication with the host was always responded to very quickly. We would totally stay there again. We didn't use the kitchen too much, and it was nicely stocked. There isn't a dishwasher, but we didn't really cook so that was fine for us. The location is awesome! You can walk basically anywhere in Custer because it is located right on the main street so you're super close to shopping and dining. Even though it is in the heart of everything, it was really quiet. We didn't hear any noise from the town. There are no units above you, so that makes it quiet, and below you is a retail store, so I didn't have to worry about my kids being too loud for people below us. Things that might be worth noting if you're considering this property: there's not a bathroom fan, and the main bedroom felt a little bit sunny in the morning but neither of those mattered to us. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves back in Custer!

The loft was clean and was in a great location, however there were some issues. We never got the welcome email and went to the wrong location based on what the listing stated was the location. We had to contact the host for entry information and address. Unfortunately the unit did not have enough towels for our family or any bath products as stated in the listing. We were also planning to use the listed washer and dryer but upon arrival found none. We ended up spending some of our vacation time at the laundry mat. The kitchen is very small which was expected but the cooking supplies were very basic and cheap. We were grateful for the small AC as there was a heat wave and it did provide a little bit of relief (but not much). Glad it was clean, easy walkable location but as my teens said “it was mid.”
