loved the balcony.. the property was nice, it was only a little noisy at night with the traffic, but definitely in a walkable area in town. Def a spot I would book again.
This was quite a pleasant surprise. The hotel was impeccably clean, conveniently located for dining and service was incredible. Our room had a balcony overlooking the hillside and the breakfast was terrific. This was a terrific experience.
The room has little place to store anything, even lay out a suitcase on a jack stand. Sewer gasses came up from the drains in the bathroom and smelled awful.
The included breakfast was hot dog and virtually empty wontons. Pretty basic.
The elevator broke down several times over my 4 day stay. Not easy walking down suitcases from the 4th floor on checkout.
I’m sure backpackers wouldn’t mind this place. Reasonably priced and still within the historic district. Would I stay here again? Yeah….no.
Hotel locates a little outside the central old town area, but much easier for taxi-Uber-Tour minivan pick up. Walking about 12 minutes to Saint Pedro Peru Rail train Station. Breakfast is good in a standard budget hotel and serve at 5am, a plus breakfast for early train departure to Machu Picchu in early morning.
The desk staff were extremely helpful. One young woman, Rocio, helped me book a personal tour to Machu Picchu when I had no prior ticket reservation. She took care of the entire logistics, and my English-speaking guide was very good.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Property is a good option for a night or two in Cusco. Convenient location that is short walk to the main square. There is a market close by for snacks, water, etc. The accommodations are basic but are a good launching point for Peru adventurers. The main draw back is that there are many travelers that are taking early morning excursions and it can be really noisy from about 4 to 5 am with doors and talking as people head out.
Very comfortable room walkable distance to attractions in central Cuzco. Good hot water system which is not a given in Peru. My only criticism is could hear people yelling on the street at wee hours. Would book again.

Good trekking base
The Prisma is a popular choice for trekking companies both before and after trips. The hotel is geared up for luggage storage whilst the groups are away. Everything was kept safety secured.
The free breakfast serves a purpose but was lacking in variety and had limited options. Rooms were very basic but also very clean. Priced about right for the standards.

Location is close to everything - restaurants and shops. Plaza de Armas is a short walk and the tourist offices and train stations are within 5 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast is ok. If you come closer to the end of the meal service, they don’t refill the food anymore. They’re strict about extra people in the room so make sure to book for the exact number of people. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. I love the beds, beddings and extra pillows. But like all other hotels in Peru it seems, walls are paper thin and no soundproofing at all. You hear everything!! So bring earplugs if you’re noise sensitive.
