La atencion buena y el desayuno muy bueno. La critica es la falta de calefaccion, con 6ºC por la noche la habitacion esta helada y el lavabo solo cuenta con agua fria, si bien la cama cuenta con varios acolchados. Solo se accede a un calefactor pagando aparte. La señal de wifi no llega a las habitaciones.

O hotel é agradável

Gosto do Mallqui , por sua simplicidade e conforto. Apenas acho que precisam melhorar as tomadas, os aparelhos de tv e principalmente a conexao do WIFI que só funciona na sala de recepção. O café da manhã é muito bom e atenção da recepção pode está ok, mas pode ser um pouquinho melhor.

This hostel was nice and accommodating. The staff was great and the room was nice for what we paid for. The location was a little bit dark and slightly far from the main square, but I didn't feel unsafe or like it was too far to get anywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Buena atención, cerca al centro

Todo bien, desde la atención de la recepcionista, las habitaciones super cómodas, limpias, la ducha, el desayuno buenísimo, lo único que puedo calificar bajo es el wifi que solo llega a las habitaciones de adelante, la segunda vez que me hospedé, me toco habitaciones al fondo, donde ya no llega wifi, por lo demás, todo ok.

Lindo hotel

La ubicación del local es buena, la dificultad que hay, es la calle en reparación, el taxi lo deja a 500 metros, hay que llegar caminando con todo el equipaje, mucha arcilla en el camino, la calle está totalmente abierta ya que están instalando o ampliando drenajes, fue complicado.

Einfache, hilfsbereite Unterkunft

Das Hostal Mallqui liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum, zu Fuss ist man jedoch innert Kürze (10min) beim Plaza des Armas. Der Empfang im Hotel war super. Die Zimmer sind einfach, teilweise sehr herzig gestaltet, teilweise aber etwas ringhörig und die Badezimmer haben teilweise Schimmel. Da das Frühstück separat geregelt ist, ist alles ganz genau abgezählt, man erhält also pro Person genau 2 Brötchen und so weiter (Personal Frühstück etwas unfreundlich).

A comfortable and character filled hostel.

A really comfortable room with soft beds. The hot water was variable but the hotel had lots of character and a sunny courtyard to relax in. It was up a slight hill, which can make you breathless in the thin air. Stephan at reception was wonderfully helpful and organised some great tours for us. We appreciated the coca tea provided but found the breakfast extremely monotonous.

Um bom hotel (custo x benefício)

Foi muito boa, porém o chuveiro era ruim (com problemas) e na hora de pagar o recepcionista queria uma quantia em dinheiro, não aceitou somente o pagamento em cartão, não eu insisti (o que me chateou) e ele acabou cedendo, pois era a única forma que eu poderia pagar. O quarto, café da manhã são muito bons, localização é ótima bem próximo a praza das armas.

Muito bom, apenas algumas melhoras necessárias!

O hotel é bom e bem tranquilo, não é pra quem busca agito. A única reclamação que tenho foi que nos trocaram de quarto duas vezes sem muitas explicações e as cortinas dos boxes nos banheiros eram curtas e molhava tudo. Ah, a internet era bem difícil de funcionar também. No mais, ele é o que você paga. Todos os funcionários são gentis e o café é o padrão Peru, eles preparam na hora que você chega. Vale a pena!

Lugar seguro, cómodo y acogedor.

Viajé con mis papás que son adultos mayores, necesitaba un lugar seguro y cómodo.... Nos gustó mucho el lugar, tranquilo, acogedor, seguro. Agradezco a Milagros, la joven de la recepción por su esmerada atención. Totalmente recomendado. Lo único es que debes pagar en efectivo, porque la mayoría del tiempo "no tienen conexión" con el banco para hacerlo.

This hotel has horrible service. They messed up our reservation and claimed it wasn't their fault. When we showed them proof they messed up, they refused to apologize. Rooms are basic. Wifi was terrible. Breakfast was good.

Pretty good with the right expectations

This hostel is a great option if you are looking for something affordable and a short walk from Plaza de Armas. Pros: - It's cheap (let's be honest it's important) - Quiet area of the street - 5-7 minute walk to the Plaza - Free breakfast - Free, private airport pick up - It's very clean Cons: - No AC or Heat (however you can rent a radiator heater for a few bucks) - Don't change your towels (no matter how long your stay is) unless you beg - Blow Dryer that you can borrow is the worst and shorts often - Pillows suck - They will tell you the credit card machine is broken when you check out (however if you insist that is the only way you can pay it will magically start working) - Staff is helpful, but always seemed annoyed by us ...but it is super cheap, so even with those cons, set your expectations and enjoy having extra spending money!

A pleasant, well-located hostel

Hostel Mallqui is walking distance to Plaza de Armas and many attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful and will arrange tours, call taxis, make phone calls for you, and make sure you are happy with your accommodations. The private rooms are clean and pleasant, tho not luxurious, and the private rooms in the back are very quiet. Bottled water, soda and beer are available in the lobby. Travel guides are on loan, there's a book exchange and lots of dvds, also in the lobby.
