"Well equipped house with a bedroom and bathroom layout which makes it ideal for multiple groups. great location out of town (but still a short drive) for scenery and privacy but easily accessible to vineyards. A Pool table and juke box make for fun times and the wood fired hot tub is perched on a hill with beautiful views to soak in on a lazy afternoon or evening. Outdoor fire pit for marshmallows in the evening and a beautiful outdoor cafe at the front of the property with excellent coffee and donuts (with space for the kids to run around and climb on old tractors and train carriage).Mick and Shelley were gracious hosts and very welcoming. Lots of good recommendations for activities around the Mudgee area. "

"Welcoming and well represented. We arrived to a beautiful full fridge for breakfast, as well as a stunning property and surrounds. It property catered for every eventually and need. As well as offering many little notes for convenience and understanding along the way. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and everything was intuitively there. "

"Room was large and clean. King bed was a bit lumpy and the bathroom was showing some maintenance issue. Generally a nice place to stay for the area."

"The Queen was conveniently located just out of town with a lovely outlook.The property was spotless and all the essentials were provided.There was some road noise early Monday morning, however, this wasn’t an issue over the weekend.We enjoyed our stay."

"The water completely ran out after day 1 after the washing dishes and 3 short and weak showers. Rubbish under the bed left from previous guest. The pool table is an old rackety toy pool table for 4-6 years olds, and the listing misleads by saying pool table, should say kids toy pool and broken table. The board games old/broken. A loud beep went off ever 1-2 minutes the whole stay coming from a padlocked room and was torture. No internet/phone range so could not call email the manager to stop the noise. Not even running water to wash hands after using the toilet. Photos are misleading. Couldnt wait to get home for running water and a shower and cut the stay short. Only 4 flimsy old thin towels provided for whole family. The stay there was certainly not enjoyable."

"We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us around our accommodation.The house was spotless and has all the modern amenities with ample room for a large family. a large covered entertainment area plus a huge neatly mown lawn.The view from the front veranda allows you to sit and relax while watching the cattle in an adjoining paddock.We will most certainly be returning to this farmhouse that is only a five minute drive to the centre of Gulgong with it's museums and social outlets, plus Mudgee is only 28 kilometres away and that is the hub of the central western plains."

"Really grea accommodation, especially for multiple families, it allows you to have your own space yet still be communal. The kids loved seeing the animals (horses and cows) who came right up to the fence to say Hi. Very close by to lots of wineries and the main town, nothing we ventured to was more than 10 mins drive. Will definitely come back and stay again. "
