"Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again."

"It was so clean and a perfect location to town.. my boys fished walked the trails and just sat on the porch.. we had a wonderful time. The only thing you need to be prepared for is the tourist They will be walking around the cabin looking in windows. The house is clearly marked that says private property so no fault of the host. it was the best experience"

"there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing."

"We love staying at the lake house. It is perfect for my family and our second time to rent this property. The property's is conveniently located close to the interstate and nearby stores. We really enjoyed the porch and swimming from a nice swim deck. They have a great game room which was perfect for three preteens and 1 teenager. The owner quickly responds to questions and provides good info. Highly recommend!!!"

"Fall break from Nashville couldn't have been better! We loved the place- it was so clean and very comfortable for 4 adults and a group of kids ages 13-17. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were new and clean. A lot of attention went into the details and we appreciated it so much! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and well-maintained property, and the host was very responsive to any questions. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the living space was a perfect size for our group of 12 people. The only issue for us was that the driveway and entry steps are (unavoidably) steep, which made getting in and out a little difficult for my parents, who are in their 80s. Otherwise, it was an excellent choice!"

"Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon."

"Wonderful little lake house located in a ver convenient location. 5 minutes to 2 boat ramps down river or just a quick 15 minute drive to waterfront. Less than 10 minutes to City Harbor. Clean, plenty of space, and located right in the water. We will be back!"

"When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!"
