Family Friendly Lake House

Free water trampoline and kayaks available to rent.
Newly Renovated!!! This home is located on Simpson Creek at Smith Lake. It’s only 7 minutes from I65 exit 304 and is on a very quiet dead end road. Completely shaded by trees, very large covered patio facing the water. Water front is gradual and has no deep drop off. The home features 4 bedrooms with Queen beds. 2 of the bedrooms feature attached smaller rooms with 3 twin beds and a full sized bed. Perfect for families with small children. For a total of SIX BEDROOMS. There is also a detached building that houses a game room with a sofa. Great place for kids to hang out. The entire property and home is decorated and furnished with families in mind.
***Please inquire about additional weekly and monthly/multi-month discounts during Fall and Winter off season dates.
This would be a great home for extended business trips or interim housing. We also have 3 cabins close by. PM for details. Thank you 😊

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure air is 74 on cool in summer and 68 on heat in winter. Wash and put away dishes. Wash your towels please.
Remove all trash from the interior and exterior of property and game room and take to the trash cans at the bottom of the road. Failure to do so will result in a $50 garage fee.
Make sure the grill is cleaned and the grease bucket has been dumped. Make sure the kitchen area is cleaned. $100 fee will be charged if grill and area is left dirty.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The home was beautiful with its view over looking the lake. The house was clean and comfortable with lots of room. Getting back and forth from town was easy and we enjoyed going to Octoberfest! The water level in the lake was too low for a swim but we enjoyed just sitting on the doc watching the birds.

Very nice house in a beautiful location on the lake. Communication with owner was excellent. My only concern was the stairs being very steep. The master bedroom and bathroom on the main level was a life saver for our older family member. We had a wonderful time!!

Family Vacation

We loved the house and property! The bedrooms were very large so everyone had their own space. We had the best week and one of our daughters actually got engaged while we were there. I don’t think the one set of neighbors are happy when renters are there but overall it was really great!

Family Fun Weekend

Overall, the experience was pleasant. Beautiful views, plenty of seating, and all the amenities that one would expect from a lake house. However, the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable which made very difficult to watch a movie with the family.

Parking with a boat was difficult. Dock didnt have power so we used a generator. Plenty of outdoor sitting to enjoy the weather and view.

The Lake House

This is a nice property in a good location. Quiet and peaceful, however it is a bit on the small side. We had a group of 10 and it was a bit cozy.

5 cousins retreat

Good house for 5 men. Fair number of stairs to dock but negotiable. Could use more lighting in kitchen. Had to use a flashlight to see stove controls. Great covered porch overlooking water and nice boathouse. All in all a good spot.

Wonderful Property

We loved our stay at this home. The view from the deck is amazing and so relaxing. The cove and dock is perfect for swimming, floating and lounging. We would definitely go back!!

Nice place to relax.

The spot on the lake was perfect, not a lot of boat traffic or even jet ski traffic. The kids could swim all day or jump in an inflatable boat and paddle out with no real worry of water vehicles.

A great getaway

This place was amazing to wake up. The view of the lake from the front porch was breathtaking. The game room was easy going. The place had plenty of space for guests. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Smith Lake getaway

Loved the private location on the water and close to everything. Sit on the enormous porch and watch the sunsets on the water and the house is laid out nice for families or groups. Clean and comfortable.
