I've stayed at many Vrbo rentals, but Villa Pinel was one of the best. With plenty of room and privacy for all, it's well equipped with beach towels, pool floats, and a stocked kitchen. The pool was recently redone and it's beautiful with a stunning view of daily sunrises and boats. The Cul-de-sac area is quiet, but not far from grocery stores, restaurants, beaches and pretty much anything else you want to do. One note is the mosquitoes, but they're part of island life so just pack bug spray.
Veronique is a top notch host. From booking to our arrival home, she was in touch with us the whole time and answered any questions we had promptly. Incredibly kind and an island expert, Veronique provided great suggestions on activities, restaurants and even offered to make reservations on our behalf. She was very generous in stocking items in the villa for us before we arrived.
For activities I highly recommend a day trip to Pinel island. We took the ferry, but it was quick and the boats depart every 30 mins. On Pinel I would suggest chair service and splurging on the fresh caught lobster at one of the restaurants. From the villa you can walk to Grand Cayes beach. I would also recommend Cupecoy beach with its rocks/cliffs, Villa Royale restaurant in Grand Case and Toppers Rhum distillery. We also had Chef Franck cater brunch where we thoroughly enjoyed watching him at his craft and were gifted with a delicious meal.
I would definitely come back to St Martin and stay at Villa Pinel.
