"Perfect for one night to break up our journey back to the ferry. We needed somewhere with secure off road parking as we had bikes on the back of our van. This was ideal as it had a gate that was locked at night and you could park right near your apartment. Beds were very comfortable and nice spacious layout. My boys loved the bonus of the pool. Drawbacks toilet is downstairs separate from the upstairs bathroom and there isn’t an oven in the kitchen area."

"It’s a 2 star hotel, we wasn’t expecting much, as long as it was clean and we got a good night sleep that is all we needed for one night. The room was clean, the beds could have been more comfortable, but it was ok for a brief stop over."

"One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement."
