The pictures are not of the rooms current condition. Walls are painted teal green and the mini fridge was rusted. Checked in and decided not to stay here. The staff was very nice and refunded us our money. No comforter on the bed, box spring was dirty, kids running around the parking lot. - relatives of the manager, which live at the hotel.

Property is old and is in a state of dis-repair. Floors are dirty because huge gaps under doors allow things to get in. Fixtures don't work properly, bed linens are stained, bath tubs have cigarette burn marks. AC is in the wall up so high you need a chair to fine tune the temperature. Sinks and tub do not drain well. Parking is easy and the staff is very likeable and quick to get whatever you need or try to help.

C grade hotel in Dunnellon.

It’s the cheapest hotel in the area so don’t stay there with high expectations. On the plus side Chris checked us in quickly and was pleasant but probably overworked as she just came from making up a room. Bed was comfortable but soft, TV, AC and frig worked. On the negative side the furniture is pretty beat, the cheap flooring really creaks and WiFi was very spotty if it worked at all. Everything was superficially clean but in real need of a deep cleaning. It was fine for a one night stay while passing through.

After checking in, decided not to stay.

The front desk staff was friendly. But the room, including the refrigerator and microwave were in bad shape and were not clean. The floors had not been washed. Everything was in need of a refresh. The amenities were not new and appeared to be used. The staff was nice and apologized and refunded my money. I did not stay. Would not recommend.

Needs to be demolished

The place is just very old and dingy. No amount of scrubbing could clean this place up. It really needs to be demolished. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. I I would not recommend staying there to anyone.

Nasty even for the price

Only 1000 characters huh? Ok, I’ll try. Even for the low price of $99 per night is way too much. I should’ve gotten the hint when the manager had to explain how to use the two remotes for the TV and about the man out front with dementia and the other homeless people. I had driven for 26 hours and was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The blankets had stains on them, the baseboard molding was pulled away from the wall. I was so tired I couldn’t pull myself to try and find another place. Needless to say I slept with my clothes on and never pulled the blankets down. The only plus was the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water (needed it to clean off anything that may have crawled on me). Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Sound between rooms was ok, road not so good but it sits right by road so expected. Room was not that clean. Mirror and Kleenex container looks like it hadn't been clean for a very long time. Bathroom was clean. In pic shows bedspread but they just use a sheet for a spread, ok I guess but one bed sheet was a little dirty and hair on it. Looked like one woman was trying to do everything, needs some help. Was full because of hurricane. Been in worst.

Let me start by saying we have stayed here before and while it isnt the best hotel is was fine for a night. This stay was horrendous. There were guests lighting off roman candles and fireworks in the parking lot. The staff did nothing about it- one just got in her car and left. I shouls have gone back in and asked for a refund but we were tired and they seemed to have stopped. Fasts forward to 2am, when I felt something touch my foot. The guest before us had left uneaten food (pepperoni to be exact) and dirty napkins in our bed. It was absolutely disgusting. We will not be back.
