"A really special experience. Amazing house and grounds, topped with walks in beautiful woodland grounds alongside the river Tweed. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Had a fabulous long weekend, and felt privileged to stay in such a historic setting. Would certainly recommend for special occasions. "

"Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. "
