"Well….well. My stay at the Verandah was EXCELLENT! The resort is beautiful it’s a sight to see. Checking was quick.. our room/bathroom was huge and beautifully kept. Housekeeping came every other day to clean up. Hospitality was on the MONEY. And let me tell you…the food is to die for. As someone who’s from the West Indies when I stay at all inclusive resorts the food are normally tasteless but the Veranda chefs wasn’t playing with their seasonings. As we in the black community would say they put their foot in it😍. What can I say about the staffs Smh in amazement. The most wonderful people/ workers I’ve ever encountered. The happiest respectful sets of humans. The comradery with guests was so special. The Veranda owes me and my family NOTHING! Highly recommended. Do not hesitate. Amazing resort, amazing staffs, amazing food and service. IfI should return to Antigua ever in the future Veranda adult only all inclusive it shall be. 👏❤️🤗🥰"

"I had such a great time at this hotel. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. Hannah, Micah, and Maxine were especially wonderful. On our first night, Hannah gave us helpful information about some carnival events, which led to us having an amazing time at a few of the fetes (parties). Maxine and Micah took care of our dinner reservations and made the overall dining experience a perfect 10 out of 10. The food was delicious, and the drinks were just as great. It was an overall amazing experience, and I would definitely come back again."

"The beach and grounds are beautiful. Most of the staff are wonderful and so hardworking. The room was wonderful, private and secluded. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was wonderful and helpful. We loved the plunge pool and used it every day to cool off after the beach. Food was delicious. Our only complaint was having to decide what time you want to eat lunch and dinner at breakfast. We never made it to breakfast until the last day because it was from 700-900 am. Way too early for us. We also never made it to lunch either (our choice) because we didn't want to leave the beach and at dinner the food was amazing, just very small portions with limited choices. Would like to see a buffet breakfast with longer hours and options of fresh fruit and cheese etc. Again, the beach was beyond beautiful!!! Even with that little glitch of food "

"It’s a beautiful property and very family friendly. There’s several dining options, pools, and tons of activities to do. It’s not necessary to leave the hotel for activities, but if you do everything is right at your fingertips from rental cars, tours, excursions you name it and it’s available to you. The employees are very hospitable and friendly. We stayed in a 2bdrm villa and loved it. Very spacious with plenty room for kids to move about. Beach is nice with plenty of chairs and shade to sit under. The only downside to the beach is seaweed, but you’re still able to swim and enjoy it. The food options were ok!!!! The buffet options were good not great and there are specialty dining options available for an additional cost. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a laid back, quiet and friendly place to vacation. "
