"Property Manager Jose met us as we pulled into the driveway and greeted us with Hospitality immediately. He was like a Quarterback in the days before our arrival, so when we arrived...TOUCHDOWN!The Retreat was loaded with comfort, supplies (including wood for the FIREPLACE!), and a well-stocked kitchen! We would definately returned to the "Family Retreat Ijn The Hudson Valley"!"

"We slept well and our dog approved of his sleep as well. This facility has an indoor pool, however, it is apparently only open "seasonally". Expedia did not disclose this. Cleanliness here was subpar. Sheets/blankets/curtains are stained, furniture (night stands, desk, TV stand, etc) need more than just the tops wiped down as they are obviously dirty with dried fluids, etc. on them) There were no extra rolls of toilet paper, there were no extra towels, and the 2 "bath towels" that were available were very small. I was happy to be able to bring my dog and not be charged extra, which is ultimately why I chose this facility. To all of the guests that come to this facility with their dog(s), clean up after your dogs! This facility has very kindly allowed you to bring your dog at no extra charge, the least you can do is pick up and dispose of their feces! "
