The neighbouring coastal town of Sheringham is 4 miles away with a beautiful, sandy beach, Splash Leisure Pool, North Norfolk Railway; also known as the Poppy Line, cliff top golf course, shops, cafés and restaurants. The charming coastal village of Blakeney is 13 miles away whilst Holkham Hall and the beach at Wells-next-the-Sea is 23 miles away. The RSPB Bird and Nature Reserves at Cley, Morston and Blakeney are an easy drive away. The National Trust stately homes of Blickling and Holkham Halls, and Sheringham Park are close by.
