"The ocean was far from the hotel, the area was not a safe area, and walking anywhere was impossible. And there was bed bugs in the room. The hotel looks like it has been remodel or they are working in the interior, the outdoors are great but still need improvement ., The welcome area was great so was the customer service, is not theri fault the hotel is old."

We love the staff, the rooms are very nice, especially if you get the renovated floors (the unrenovated feel like the late 1990’s although they are clean and the beds are definitely new). The included breakfast is delicious, pool area is really nice and the location to important sites is as good as it can be for Santo Domingo traffic. This hotel does an EXCELLENT job of taking care of its customers and we plan to stay here again…"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet had a large variety of foods and was very fresh and tasty. The Japanese restaurant was average as they did not have many popular japanese foods that we were looking for. The restaurant, piano bar and cigar lounge were always pretty empty. This is definitely a relaxing older crowd resort, no party vibes AT ALL. Also, the rooms were freezing. We even turned the air off and it was still cold. and the sheets were pretty thin with no extra blanket so I slept in the robe they provided. The location was in a good spot centrally located. "
