"Place was great especially for the price! However some things like the doors were run down when I put my card I had to go downstairs to ask why the door wouldn’t open in which they told me I had to flip the handle up instead of down first and to pull the door before inserting my key card. I also had a struggle getting into the hotel from other exterior doors with my key card as it wouldn’t read it properly."

"The manager was very rude. I booked/paid for 2 rooms for June8-11. On June 10 while the majority of my party was in the middle of a treacherous hike the manager approached my sister in the room she was in and said the second room had only been reserved by our third party for two nights and if he didn't get immediate payment then he was going to have all our items packed and removed from the room. He stood in her doorway for approximately 5 minutes trying to intimidate her. He finally said we needed to stop by the desk when we returned to the hotel. I called the hotel where he told me the same thing. That the third party had only booked the room I was in for 2 nights not 3. I hung up on him to try to get a hold of hotels.com My sister took a picture of my reservation information to the front desk where she was then informed that someone had left our pamphlet that had our room keys at the front desk around 11 am. My party left the hotel before 9 to start our activities. The hotel staff did get us back into the room but the manager was very rude insisting we thank him for his and his staffs actions. He did not offer an apology for his actions. The managers name is Bob and I was told he is the general manager of the property. He was very rude and unprofessional with us. The only positive interaction we had with front desk staff was with DeeDee. She was amazing"

"This hotel was perfect for our family of six! We had the two bedroom suite, and having the second bathroom was amazing! The property was very clean and the beds were nice. I personally think that the complaints that I read about it before booking were extremely overstated. No, it’s not as nice as staying in a 5 star hotel which is what it seemed some of the reviews were expecting. For my family and our expectations, it was perfect for our stay!"

"The ratings on line seemed good but the property is very awkward due to so many different levels and nooks and crannies. We will not be staying there again. If you want something very different, you can give it a try. The food at the restaurant was the only thing I found to brag on there."
