"Great hotel, clean, great location lovely staff.
Nice added bonus if you defer your cleaning you can collect a 'prize' of late check out coffee or prosecco which is a great idea! "
"Hotel was spotless, including the spa. Staff were all great, super helpful, particularly those at breakfast who went over and about to ensure a gluten free breakfast. Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely recommend! "
"This was our first stay at Hotel Polski Pod. We arrived late at night but received a friendly professional welcome. A pleasant well kept building combining traditional features with sympathetic modern updates. Conveniently located a short walk up a quiet side street just far enough away from bustling nightlife of Krakow.
Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and plenty warm enough despite the cold weather. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The breafast offers plenty of continental choice and some hot items ie bacon, eggs, sausages but not 'Full English'. However we would happily return here."
"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located from for a City break its about 10mins from the Train station and a few minutes from the old town.
The room we got was located on the 2nd floor above reception so overlooked the road. However it was so quiet we didn't hear anything from our room. The room was massive with plenty space, however the layout was probably not the best, the TV was across the other side of the room from the bed so you couldn't really watch TV in bed. Given we were English guests there was no English tv Channels available.
The room was spotless. The reception staff informed us that we had to inform reception if we wanted our room cleaning which didn't bother us for 2 night stop.
The breakfast is ok. Its a simple and basic breakfast. My only critisim is they didn't seem to turnover the empty dishes quick enough.
It would be nice to have a kettle in the room. Instead they have a communal coffee/drink machine on the first floor.
Lastly i recomend booking and making reservation at the idependently run Duck restraunt attached to the hotel. We opted to eat here both nights. The food was fabulous and a great way to try polish food!
