The hotel had flooded due to the hurricane that came through. The staff did a great job of having the hotel in the best condition possible given the circumstances. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that due to the weather conditions we wanted to verify the hotel was even open. I called the hotel directly and could not get any answer. Expedia could not reach them either and the corporate number (Choice hotels) had no idea and could never verify. Expedia was very clear that they would find us accommodation if the hotel was not open. Choice hotels made no offer to help us in that event.

Pretty good hotel! Stayed for 3 nights. A little dirty in some places in the room (stains on the sheets, pullout couch dirty) but otherwise good stay. Best part of the stay was the staff. All friendly and helpful!!

Wow! I’ve stayed at many Choice privileges Hotels with my reward card and this has to be in my top three. Harper at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and my room was very clean and breakfast was very good. Even though it was crowded on a Saturday morning, every food bowl was full and the service lady was working very hard to keep everything clean for the next group to come in. We will definitely be keeping this one on the radar when we come back through Florida.
