My check-in was okay. They didn’t have a cart, so the clerk helped me carry my luggage in. When I asked for a bathmat and some pillows, she got them for me. She was very friendly and extremely helpful.

We were glad to find a place to get away from Hurricane Helene. The bed was good and the TV was state of the art. However - there was no phone, no clock, no coffee maker, and I had to go to the lobby for towels. The room was not real dirty, but it was not real clean; I could put up with this because we only stayed two nights. I wouldn't want to stay here for any length of time. Staff was very nice. I

Room was not cleaned once we checked in. The room floor looked as if it had never been swept. There was also no toiletries, towels or remote to the television. Was quiet and bed was comfy though.

The place was not so great but the staff were more than nice….we got what we paid for but they need to at least update some items in there rooms and hotel such as the comforters, the REFRIGERATOR, ours didnt work at all, it was nice of them to let us use there’s, but we’re on vacation we’re not going to keep going out our room to go up front each time especially since our room was literally in the very bad. Their maintenance guy or who ever locks the lobby up at a certain time was not it…we were using the microwave in the lobby since the room didn’t have one, which says in the details the room has a microwave but did not. We were just warming up our food, he came by talking but we didn’t understand him, he was walking and talking at the same time, and said rudely that’s hes locking up the lobby which i did not know they lock up the lobby literally….not a prisoner but okayy some hotels rules are different. Hella bugs which i understand for Florida, but you can also fumigate the rooms. Im not going to pick out everything that could easily be fixed or can be avoid for future renters. I should had took pictures but it was a 2 night stay i recommend only 1 night stays if you can’t find nothing else.

Bates Motel

We went to Gulf Shores for the holiday, and instead of booking a room like we usually do before we go we winged it. Well we went to Hotels.com once we got to Foley and all the Motels were booked solid from the beach to Daphne or Pensacola. Even the rooms on Hotel. Com were scarce so we found one that had availability and the pictures of the property looked decent! We’ll never judge a book by its cover right! Wrong judge that book, I learned a valuable lesson. Judge it!!! We checked in and the lobby seemed decent enough. We got to our room and OH MY GOD I felt like I was in a real life horror movie Make over of the Bates Motel. When we got to our door, the whole frame was missing just about around the door. Joel and I both said “OH MY” at the same time. I looked at him and said the very words, Don’t judge a book by its cover. Well from here it begins! The door was the best part of it, truly! When I tell you that death was oozing from this room there is no lie, there is a outline on the bed of a human form, that looked like a unwashed body lay in one spot for months! There was holes busted in the floor, to where you could not walk a single step without almost falling. I told Joel do not set our bags down bc something may crawl in. As I’m walking to the door that leads out side that also has no locks or frame to it either. You could quite literally look from one door to the other and see guest in the hallway with
