Delightful Adobe 2 Bedroom in Crestone with Spectacular Views

When you step through the door at the Casita, you feel the welcoming energy of this sweet place. She was created using architectural principles of sacred geometry. The views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, Kit Carson especially, are breath-giving. The house is set on 2 1/2 acres of land, bordered by National land and serenaded by the soothing sounds of Willow Creek. The Crestone community is shared by a diverse range of spiritual and new age centers, and is also a mecca for alternative, green and sacred architecture. With prolific wildlife and exquisite nature, this is an ideal location for your retreat.

Lovely Crestone getaway

Great Place

Great escape!

Perfect place for a girls weekend and exploring the Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls and local hot springs. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing trip.

This is such a wonderful property. Impeccably clean, and an excellent location that is both quiet and removed and just a few minutes from town. If you stay here, you can't miss with any of the local restaurants!

Quiet and Peaceful - great place for our retreat

This lovely home was a wonderful place for our two week retreat. Lovely views from the windows and patio, and very peaceful. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the pots, pans and utensils we needed for cooking. Hope to return again next year!

We loved our stay here. It was comfortable for a party of 4. Very clean, beautiful views, convenient location, and easy check in. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, and in between adventures we had plenty of space to relax and recover. We will come back if we can.

Casita is exactly as described, peaceful, quiet and private location with beautiful mountain views. even though there is only 1 bathroom we had no problem sharing with another adult couple. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place. My husband and I watched the gorgeous night sky on the patio, cooked dinner together in the kitchen with ease..plenty of kitchen supplies and slept well in the comfy bed. The house was a gem. And the owner went over the top to communicate with us and make sure everything was good.

Lovely Retreat Casita

This Casita is very special, simple, elegant, poised with incredible views and secluded comfort. We used it as a retreat space and the land and beautiful architecture and well cared for space were the perfect supports. Merrin put her heart into this space, and it feels like a home rather than a rental space. Everything was provided and well thought out. We will return and have already recommended it to friends.

Beautiful little getaway! Comfortable and cozy. Be aware, there are VERY few options for eating out in Crestone and property does not have a microwave if you are planning to eat in. But otherwise, full kitchen that functioned well for what we needed. Gorgeous views!

Great spot to get away from it all

We were very happy with our stay. The casita was well kept and very clean. Our host was communicative and very helpful with info about the casita as well as the surrounding area. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views are amazing and the location is a great place to disconnect from the hectic pace of everyday life. Crestone is a few minutes away and has a small mix of galleries, a few eateries and a market. If you are there on a Thursday night, you have to head to the pub for open mic night. We will be back again!

Peaceful place

The property is very clean and comfortable. There is a creek just out back but unfortunately the mosquitos were bad so we couldn't really explore. We went to the Great sand dunes which was fun and the greenhouse hot springs. T-brew house is a fun group of people but please note that dining out here is limited. Luckily we had food and the house has everything you need if you need to cook. If you are looking to unwind with great mountain views this is the place!

An escape to spiritual serenity in the mountains

We spent two relaxing nights in Baca Grande, a charming community nestled within Crestone. Our host, Merrin, was fantastic – always prompt and helpful with any questions. The house was perfectly equipped with a beautiful patio and stunning mountain vista. Crestone, a short drive away, is a quaint old mining town brimming with character. We thoroughly enjoyed wandering its streets and soaking in its unique atmosphere. Here's a local tip: if you need groceries, head to the Mercantile for better prices. Our main adventure was exploring Great Sand Dunes National Park, a true natural wonder just an hour away. We also experienced the hot springs in the area. Hopper Hot Springs offered a lively atmosphere with a large pool, perfect for families. However, for a more relaxing experience, we opted for the adults-only Greenhouse with its delicious food (entrance fee applies). If you prefer a smaller, less commercial hot spring experience, Joyful Journey might be a good alternative.
