"This was a very clean, recently updated house in an excellent location near downtown. The furnishings, decorations, and kitchen furnishings were perfect. The second bedroom only has a twin day bed with a lower twin bed that pulls out. This was disclosed and it was comfortable. Overall a great property and recommend for parties of 4 or less. "

"Highly recommend a stay at the old stone farm! The owner was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our trip. The place is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed lazy mornings on the farm and ending out day around the fire pit at night. It was clean and cozy and the perfect background for curling up with a book and taking fun pictures outside. Our daughter loved getting to know all the animals and spent hours at the fence watching them do their thing and feeding them. The house is well appointed with everything you need to make fun dinners for the family or host as small gathering like we did. The house itself is a destination but it’s also an easy trip to Wintwrset or even Des Moines. Highly recommend you check it out. I’m sure it is beautiful in the spring and fall.
